Ilan Cohen, MD , received his medical degree from the Tufts University School of Medicine. He then served a cornea and refractive surgery fellowship at the distinguished Vanderbilt University Hospital. In fact, he is one of only four doctors in New York City to have completed this unique dual fellowship. Dr. Cohen is considered an expert in the field of eye surgery and is one of the first doctors to have performed artificial cornea surgery. He teaches at the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is a member of several professional organizations.
