Dr. Michael Suzman, MD

Michael Suzman, MD, FACS, is a highly skilled, board-certified plastic surgeon who has received numerous awards within the field of plastic surgery, including the Dicran Goulian Prize for Academic Excellence in Plastic Surgery, the Lamport Biomedical Research Prize from Cornell University and the Cornell Prize in Surgery — a distinction awarded by Cornell University to those who display the highest performance in surgery. A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Suzman remains at the forefront of the plastic surgery field and utilizes a variety of advanced surgical techniques and technologies to provide his patients exceptional care. He is devoted to improving the lives of his patients and, in addition to performing cosmetic surgery, provides specialty care for those who have suffered from skin and breast cancer.

Dr. Suzman performs a wide array of plastic surgery procedures, including facelift, forehead lift, rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, chin and neck surgery, breast lift, male and female breast reduction, breast reconstruction, arm lift, thigh lift, liposuction and tummy tuck. He and his team also provide anti-aging skin care treatments such as Botox, microdermabrasion, chemical peels and laser skin resurfacing. In addition, Dr. Suzman performs a number of reconstructive surgery procedures, including burn reconstruction, cancer reconstruction, ear deformity surgery, scar revision and skin graft surgery. He is on staff Grennwich Hospital in Fairfield County, Connecticut, The White Plains Hospital, and The Institute for Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery at Northern Westchester Hospital.

Michael Suzman, MD, FACS, graduated with magna cum laude honors from Tulane University with a degree in anthropology and received his degree in medicine from Cornell University Medical College. He completed extensive surgical training at The New York Presbyterian Hospitals, including a residency in surgical oncology at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York; a residency in general surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Medical College of Cornell University; and a residency in plastic surgery at the New York Presbyterian Hospital, Cornell-Columbia Universities Combined Division of Plastic Surgery, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Suzman currently shares his vast surgical knowledge with aspiring surgeons as a clinical instructor at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also a member of several highly prestigious medical associations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, the Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons and the New York Regional Society of Plastic Surgeons.
