Ronald R. Krueger, MD, received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey and completed his residency in ophthalmology at the Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital in New York. He completed fellowship training in cornea and refractive surgery at the University of Oklahoma and the University of Southern California. Dr. Krueger was the co-editor of the first book on Customized Wavefront LASIK, entitled Customized Cornea Ablation. He is the founding organizer of the first world conference on Customized LASIK. He has also published numerous scientific articles and book chapters. Before joining the Cole Eye Institute in 1998 to become medical director of the Department of Refractive Surgery, he was an associate professor of ophthalmology at St. Louis University Eye Institute.
