Dr. Cathleen McCabe has performed over 17,000 LASIK procedures and is a LASERVISION Top 100 Surgeon, ranking her among the most experienced LASIK/refractive surgeons in the country. Dr. McCabe has also performed over 26,000 cataract surgeries and was named to the Premier Surgeon 250 list, which recognizes the most outstanding premium IOL surgeons in the United States. Implantable collamer lenses and clear lens extractions are also part of her list of surgical services. Dr. McCabe has been awarded the American Cancer Society Fellowship Award, the Armand J. Quick Award in Biochemistry, the Hiram Benjamin Award in Anatomy, and the Frankow Award for Outstanding Scholarship. She shares her expertise through publications as well as speaking at ophthalmological and optometric seminars. In addition, she has participated in medical missions providing much needed care to individuals in Bolivia, Belize, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala and Paraguay.
