Mark Hollingshead, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has been providing exemplary eye care to vision correction patients in Boise and Nampa for more than 16 years. Dr. Hollingshead is one of the most experienced LASIK eye surgeons in Boise and the surrounding area. In all, he has successfully performed more than 12,000 vision correction procedures. He was one of the first surgeons in the state to perform LASIK and is the only eye surgeon in Boise to be certified in both LASIK and cataract surgery by the American Board of Eye Surgery (ABES). He and his medical staff are committed to bringing the latest vision correction technologies and techniques to their eye care patients in the Boise, Nampa and Meridian communities in Idaho’s Treasure Valley.

Mark E. Hollingshead, MD, obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. He received his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine College of Medicine, where he also completed his residency. Dr. Hollingshead underwent additional training in refractive surgery and advanced cataract surgery techniques at The Eye Institute of Utah. He is affiliated with many professional organizations.
