Dr. Scott Hyver, MD

Dr. Scott Hyver is a Harvard MD, and a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in Wavefront LASIK. To date, he has performed more than 23,000 LASIK procedures. Dr. Hyver is the Official LASIK Surgeon of the San Francisco 49ers, and has performed laser vision correction on, among others, Terrell Owens, Kevan Barlow, Marques Douglas, Parys Haralson, Dave Fiore, and Coach Bill Walsh.

More About Dr. Scott Hyver

Dr. Hyver obtained his undergraduate degree with honors (Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa) from University of California, San Diego, in biochemistry, where he was valedictorian of his class and team captain of the National Champion Soccer team. He received his MD from Harvard Medical School. He then performed his residency in ophthalmology at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, and completed his fellowship training in laser and cornea refractive surgery at the world-renowned Sinskey Eye Institute in Los Angeles.
