When it comes to choosing a doctor, the website you use should be transparent and offer unbiased results, but oftentimes that’s not the case.
Many doctor listing directories charge fees to be listed, while others only show a handful of “vetted” results based on what they think are the “best doctors” for you.
The problem with these types of directories, is that they do not showcase doctors on an equal playing field. Results and visibility are commonly slanted towards those with the bigger advertising budgets or they are not listed at all because the website did not include them in their list of “vetted” doctors.
We believe in leveling the playing field, by including everyone and not accepting fees for doctors to be listed. Doctors who are interested in getting listed, can easily sign up and either claim or create a FREE profile.
Your options for choosing a doctor should not be swayed by a limited number of results or advertising budgets. Instead, you should be given a list of all possible candidates and decide for yourself which are the most important characteristics (e.g. reviews, credentials, educations, etc).
